BRIEF: Waterproofing and Glass Replacement
One of the most common problems buildings face is moisture penetrating double glazed glass and condensing. This causes panels to become opaque or “fog up”. Veraspec were engaged at 201 Miller Street to replace multiple heritage listed glass panels weighing over 200kg. This included sourcing replacements and importing them from one of our German suppliers. Transporting such large panels through tenanted office spaces while protecting our employees against manual handling injuries was a challenge that required the latest technology. Working alongside Risktech WHS consultants, we developed a safe work method and procured a small hydraulic glass lifter able to fit through the office and do the heavy lifting for us.
