Central Plaza One a skyscraper in the city of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. At the time of its completion it was the tallest building in Brisbane, holding this title until Riparian Plaza’s completion in 2005. Central Plaza One has a unique window cleaning mechanism in which a section at the top of the building rotates, allowing for the suspension of outdoor window cleaners.
Plush foyers, a striking facade and the integration of advanced technology systems have resulted in the structure being described as one of the most iconic in Australia.
Over a three year period, Veraspec were contracted to undertake facade repairs in line with Capex budgeting. This was achieved by splitting the work zones and locations into areas of concern and risk. Upon these areas being highlighted, a plan of action was formalised. Engineers reports were cross referenced to double check all areas of the facade. Working at height, glazing at height and driving the unique BMU was undertaken with zero incidents to endorse the abilities of Veraspec.
Upon completion, CBRE have engaged Veraspec on various other contracts to use the extensive skillset and management structure of the business. Continued development within the business allow for new opportunities to be explored.
